“We received such a warm welcome from Chris and Gillie which set the tone for our entire 4 night visit. Belmount has a wonderful atmosphere. Our room was extremely comfortable ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep and breakfast was served in a lovely sunny room overlooking the gardens.”

“Chris and Gillie were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean. The breakfast choices are also very good. The location was great, not too far from Ambleside. We would recommend visiting The Outgate Inn too which is less than a 10 minute walk and the food is lovely. We would definitely stay again!”
