Our first wedding of 2012 was to be on the Easter Weekend and Belmount Hall was looking absolutely stunning. The daffodils were out in profusion and just waiting to smile for the camera.

On Easter Saturday Sarah and Dave were married at Belmount Hall.
“Just a note to say thanks so much for being fabulous hosts for our wedding. We and everyone who stayed at the Hall had a fabulous weekend…. there’s talk of an anniversary re-union, so no doubt we’ll be in touch”.

Sarah’s mum wrote:- “Thank you so much for looking after us so well. Our , accommodation and meals were excellent. Eric and I thoroughly enjoyed Sarah and Dave’s wedding – it was a fantastic day with all their friends and family. We couldn’t fault it. We have such wonderful memories of a very happy time in Cumbria.”

Owen and Hilary were married at Belmount Hall on Saturday  April 21st, 2012. Here is an extract from their thank you letter…

“You really did look after us beautifully thankyou.  Our neighbours were telling me today that it felt like the best house party you could imagine.  I know that is kind of along the lines of what you are aiming for,  and you did manage to create a very relaxed atmosphere thanks.  We felt very much like your guests.  I must get around to logging on to Linked In to take you up on your contact invitation,  and will be extremely happy to recommend you.

Best Regards, Owen and Hilary

Sam and Rosie were married at St Michael and All Angels Hawkshead and celebrated their marriage with 200 guests at Belmount Hall on Saturday 5th May, 2012. Harvey Tudor of Ashfell Marquees, did a wonderful job which was complimented by the posh loos supplied by Jonathan Mills from Classic Chambers

….and Belmount Hall said…The prospect of a wedding for 200 people was scary but in the event it was just numbers and with the assistance of the amazing team from Jumping Jenny we were able to serve a full 3 course meal in very quick time. For large numbers in marquee weddings, we try to ensure that the menu is achievable. On this occaision we served, Asparagus rolled in smoked salmon with hollandaise sauce, parcels of lamb en croute with groovy gravy (Belmount Hall special) and individual pavlovas with whipped cream and red berry sauce.

And our guests said….

“We cannot thank Chris, Gillie and all the staff at Belmount enough for making our  wedding so special.  Not only is the setting as beautiful as anywhere in the Lakes, the care taken by Chris and Gillie to make sure everything runs like clockwork is immense.  Each member of staff was extremely courteous and vastly experienced; nothing was too much for them and they worked well into the morning without complaint.  The food was simply delicious.”
