As part of our recovery from last year’s manic season of weddings, Gillie and I spent a few days in New Zealand in late February, visiting Gillie’s family and some old friends. It was wonderfully hot – they have an awful drought over there – but it was almost too much contrast, to return to snow and freezing weather. When staying with Gillie’s cousin Fay, and Mad Max, in Taumaranui, for a few days of fun and laughter, we came across the above bottle of wine. Only the Kiwis! I hope it brings you a smile.
