Belmount Hall Wedding – Hawkshead – Jill and Mike

This was my first wedding at Belmount Hall. It was heaven.  There’s no hotel feel at all, it’s as if uncle Chris said come and have your wedding here at my house.  There are old books and a wonky chair in the hall. The floor creaks a bit. The garden is filled with daffs, it’s Spring. Here’s Jill and Mike’s beautiful wedding day..

I like that – it sums up perfectly what we are trying to do at Belmount Hall. It is also interesting that, this year, the daffodils would seem to be a month ahead. Here’s a photo taken yesterday…
