From the mother of the bride:-

“We are just getting back to normal after the wedding and I thought I would let you know just how wonderful everything was from my point of view. I am speaking here as the bride’s mother as Helen and Laurence are on honeymoon in Thailand and will no doubt comment for themselves later. It was simply the best day of my life. I really do not know how else I could describe it. You obviously had no influence over the weather, but from Friday evening until Sunday lunchtime it was perfect. We so enjoyed setting up all the table decorations and personal touches on Friday night and I realised why Helen and Laurence loved the venue so much…vets feel at home in a barn! Perfect! The setting for the guests on Saturday was perfect, and what a wonderful place to drink Pimms.

The belly pork was perfection, I loved the Salade Tiede with grilled goats cheese starter, and the lemon posset was exquisite. The service was unobtrusive and nothing was too much trouble, the staff were amazing. My Mum had a very happy and relaxing time (she was 90 a couple of days after the wedding) and our rooms were so beautiful. I really enjoyed my breakfast on the Sunday morning. Endless tea, croissants and proper mushrooms! I really could go on for so much longer but I’m running out of superlatives.
