John and Ann-Kristin were married on 27th September – a fascinating and lovely wedding weekend with many of Ann’s family coming over from Germany.

We received many compliments about the buffet meal served:-

Main:
Salade Tiede (‘Warm salad’ of roast butternut squash, sweet potatoes, red peppers, and cherry tomatoes)
Aubergine Galette (Layers of roast aubergines, Provencal tomato sauce, Ricotta cheese, baked ‘like a pie’..)
Casserole of Beef in Morocco Ale,
Coq au Vin.

Side dishes:
New Potatoes,
Couscous

Salads:
Green Salad,
Tomatoes in basil and garlic dressing

Sweets:
Wonderfully rich chocolate mousse,
Pavlova Meringue, with cream and red berry sauce
Bread and Butter pudding

Many of the party came back for second-helpings! One cannot ask more than that.
