The Sara Buck bedroom, second on the right when you arrive on the second floor, has the best views down the valley from the bed positioned in the middle of the room, facing directly south down to Esthwaite Water – the location of Squirrel Nutkin’s adventures, and closely connected to a number of Beatrix Potter’s delightful tales. In the cupboard alongside the wardrobe, there is a handbasin, and just across the corridor, a very smart shower and toilet. Dressing gowns are provided.
