‘EXCEPTIONAL’ is the description most frequently used by our many bed and breakfast guests. Four of the guest bedrooms – Braithwaite, Mulberry, Heelis and Sara Buck are available through booking.com (see our guest reviews!) or direct through us. The Whittaker and the French are available only direct through us, with the possibility of private use of the Library as your sitting room, where breakfast would be served.
All bedrooms except the Sara Buck are en-suite. Sara Buck Room has its own shower room, just across the corridor.
Bedrooms at the front of the house (Braithwaite, Sara Buck, French on the second floor, and Whittaker on the first floor) overlook the valley towards Esthwaite water and the fells beyond, whilst bedrooms to the north (Mulberry and Heelis) overlook the grounds, woods and fields, meaning that whichever bedroom you stay in you are guaranteed peaceful views. The rooms are named after people connected with the house since its construction in 1774.
The accommodation at Belmount also comprises of a comfortable guest sitting room with flat screen TV, and dining room where breakfast is served.
